Last news about Jamb 2019
According to the latest reports, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board representatives are sure about the success of registration of candidates for UTME in this year. Fabian Benjamin, who is a JAMB spokesman already said that the process of registration has commenced nationwide. See also: How to check JAMB score online
Registration of candidates for this year’s examination has commenced in earnest in all accredited Computer Based Test centers nationwide. — Fabian Benjamin.
He also said that there is massive turnout of candidates at registration centers around the country. JAMB 2019 registration started on January 10th, 2019 and the registration deadline is February 21st, 2019. Every candidate should fill JAMB 2019 form in order to pass the registration successfully.

We are anticipating a smooth exercise from the start to the finish, as we have put all the necessary things in place to achieve that. — Fabian Benjamin.
He also mentioned the possibility of some technical issues in any centers. But the technical experts are ready for any tasks. The representatives of media also noted the big number of candidates. STEPS TO REGISTER JAMB 2019 CBT BY Abidoye Oluwatobijay: How to register for Jamb 2019 without mistakes? This is the new and trending question for those who wish to apply for Jamb 2019. It is very important that you register or understand the Jamb 2019/2020 registration process properly so as to avoid errors and stories that touch.
It has finally been confirmed that Jamb registration has begun and the exam date fully decided. Now, you may be wondering:

10 Simple Steps To Register For Jamb CBT 2019/2020 Without Mistakes
1. Have a personal and Valid Email Account (Preferably a Gmail Account).
2. Create and Update your Jamb Profile.
3. Pay for Jamb 2019 E-Pin-Registration.
4. Go to any accredited Jamb CBT Center around you.
5. Provide your full and accurate details.
6. Go for 10 Fingers Biometric and Image capture.
7. Register and Collect Your E-Slip.
8. Collect Brochure, Syllabus and Other Materials.
9. Gather your things.
10. Done!
I will now proceed to simplify the points I made above…
1. Have A Valid Email address:
This is the first and basic step you need to kick start Jamb 2019/2020 registration. In a lay man’s word, email is the address you can use to get messages online.
It is very easy to create an email account. An email could me Google mail (Gmail), Yahoo mail, etc. I will recommend Gmail for you. It is very easy to create and will help you get personalised results when you search things on Google.
Now, you may be asking, how do I
create a valid Gmail account? Like I said earlier, it is very simple. All you need to do is, enter your details in the registration page. Please, Do not use slang or street name as your email. Let your real name and surname appear in your email address.

Note: If you already have an email account, you do not need to create another one.
2. Create Jamb Profile:
The very first and most important step in Jamb 2019/2020 registration is to create Jamb profile. It is very compulsory for you to register your profile before obtaining Jamb 2019 registration Form.
You may also be wondering, who has Jamb profile help? It has helped so many persons. Jamb profile or account is the way, no student register’s Jamb except through it. You can click here to create a Jamb profile
Apart from Jamb registration, you need the Jamb profile for Jamb online result checking, Admission status check, Admission letter printing, Accessing Jamb caps and so on.
Note: If you have already created Jamb profile during 2019 registration, you don’t have a problem here. Expressly proceed to the third step.
On the other hand, If you don’t have a registered Jamb profile, it is time to do that. Jamb profile is very easy to create. I will share a link to create Jamb profile. The link will open in new tab so that you can come back to complete the registration process.

3. Pay For Jamb 2019 E-Pin Registration:
Now that you have a valid email address and Jamb profile, what next? Get the E-Pin. Jamb E-Registration Pin can be gotten in many ways. However, I recommend going through any of the procedures below.
Get E-Pin at Jamb Accredited Banks in Nigeria
Paying on Jamb portal
Go to Nigeria Post Office (NIPOST).
Paying with ATM
Paying with your phone.
E-PIN PAYMENT THROUGH BANKS INCLUDING MICRO FINANCE BANKS:
Present Profile Code and pay by cash or card
ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
E-PIN PAYMENT THROUGH POS:
This is available at State Offices of JAMB + CBT Centres, other POS outlets and any CBT Centre that demands it
Present Profile Code and pay by card
ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
E-PIN PAYMENT THROUGH MOBILE MONEY OPERATORS:
This is available at CBT Centres and Other Outlets
Present Profile Code and pay by cash
ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
E-PIN PAYMENT USING ATM:
This is available on all ATM outlets of Participating Banks listed in 5C(I) (InterSwitch Channel).
Select Bill Payment and then pick JAMB
Enter Profile Code and pay

E-PIN ONLINE PAYMENT ON JAMB PORTAL:
1. Visit JAMB website: jamb.gov.ng

Select bank and follow the prompts to complete payment
ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Procedure for the eight foreign centres only is as follows:
Registration fee for candidates from the eight foreign countries is $20 or its equivalent in each of the eight countries
Candidates from the eight foreign countries are to download the Application from the Board’s website ( www.jamb.gov.ng ) complete and submit it with the fee at the eight designated centres as indicated on the website.

4. Stroll To Any Accredited Jamb CBT Registration Center:
In our time, it was Cyber cafes. Am sorry, you never enjoyed that experienced. It is not my fault anyway. Right now, you can only register Jamb in approved CBT centres.
Jamb released the list of accredited CBT centers recently. I have compiled the list and made it available for you in PDF. You can download and go through them to the decide the most convenient one for you.

At the Accredited Jamb CBT Centre, you will be given a CD containing the following for free:
e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study.
Syllabus (e-syllabus) for the examination.
Step by step guide on completion of the application form.
A video messages from the Registrar of JAMB and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for UTME examination without mouse.
Registration Process At CBT Centres:
i. Pay NOT more than N700 as Service Charge to the CBT Centre
ii. Provide Biodata including Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin, Local Government, Gender, e-mail address, among others
iii. Provide choice of institutions and programmes (disciplines)
iv. Provide qualification with grades and dates, if not awaiting result
v. Upload relevant certificates, if not awaiting result
vi. O/L and or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting results should supply the results online as soon as they are available on JAMB’s portal. No recommendations from any Institution will be considered by JAMB if the candidate has not supplied his/her result on the portal of JAMB
vii. Supply JAMB registration number for previous institutional certificates for DE only
viii. Provide UTME subjects and choice of examination town(s) for
(a) Mock examination (optional)
(b) Examination for UTME (actual examination)
ix. Do picture capture (no scanning of passport photograph)
x. Do Biometric enrolment (ten fingers)
xi. Review entries and confirm correctness
xii. Print Registration Slip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION
xiii. Collect, at no other cost, the reading text and CD
xiv. Each Candidate is to collect his/her e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration
xv. There will be no offline registration, as all the accredited CBT centres have been empowered for real time online registration. No candidate should register at any centre other than the accredited CBT centre and JAMB State-Offices. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres will be identified and disqualified

5. Give them Accurate Details:
So many students lost admission last year because of mistakes in the details to supplied to Jamb and school of choice.
I am begging you in the name of God, do not supply details that will land you into trouble. Check your documents and make your that there is concord between the subject and predicate.
Also, make sure your subject combinations is accurate before you proceed.
You would need to provide or get the following details:
Choice of institutions and programmes
UTME subjects
Optional Mock Examination
As was done last year, the Board will also conduct a mock examination in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarise INTERESTED Candidates with the CBT environment. Interested candidates are advised to indicate their interest in the mock examination during 2019 Jamb registration.

6. Go For 10 Fingers Biometric (If Applicable):
Still at the Registration center, the four things below will happen:
Jamb will take all your fingerprint
Your O-level or A-level result will be submitted.
You can use awaiting result.
You can use two sittings. I.e, one awaiting and one complete result or two complete results.
7. Gallantly collect Your Jamb E-Slip:
As a big boy or girl level, collect your slip and go through it. Begin to Imagine how to blast. You may want to click here now to pass Jamb 2019 at one sitting.
8. Collect Other Things:
Collect other necessary things. If I were you, I will collect my 350+ Jamb score from the CBT Center.
9. Stroll Round:
Move round and observe environment. Meet friends and overcome some fear.
10. You Are Done:
That is all. You have successfully registered. All you need to do now is, go home, eat well and sleep.
